<p><em>In German</em></p> <p>In this episode, the artist and filmmaker Josef Dabernig speaks with curator and art historian Fanny Hauser about his artistic beginnings with drawing and small-scale sculpture, the relationship between film, sculpture, photography and text in his work, and his long-standing connection with the Secession, where he has exhibited several times, served as a board member, and where, after completing his studies, he directly experienced the institution’s fresh international orientation in the mid-1980s as part of a graduate training programme.</p> <p>The conversation was recorded on 12 December 2025 at the Secession.</p>
