No More 24!: On the Fight to End the 24-hour Workday in NYC

Since the mid-2010s, the Ain’t I A Woman?! Campaign and other grassroots organizations in New York City have been fighting to ban 24-hour home care shifts, which predominantly employ immigrant women of color. Created by members of Art Against Displacement who have supported these efforts, this zine traces some of the actions that home care workers have undertaken to end the racialized and gendered violence of 24-hour shifts, which continue to be sanctioned by city officials, insurance companies, and home care agencies.

Released, in an open edition, at the East Village Zine Fair in July 2024.
